Together with BBP Arkitekter, we designed the dynamic façade for Trollbeads' headquarters in Toldbodgade, Copenhagen
The façade envelops the building as an extra "outer skin" made of panels in Tecu Gold. The panels are perforated with a complex raindrop pattern in 200 different variations. 33 % of the façade is made of horizontal folding shutters that adjust with the sun to provide solar shading during the day.
The system is motorized using our patented and robust drive system that requires minimum maintenance.
The design of the building has won numerous awards, including Copenhagen Municipality's Architecture Award (2013), The Danish Association of Architects' Building of the year award (2013) and The European Copper in Architecture Award (2017).
