Ramboll becomes Women’s Engineering Society partner

The partnership with WES, who has been inspiring and supporting diversity and engineering since 1919, formalises Ramboll’s support for this charity and professional network. Already a supporter of many of the WES initiatives, Ramboll supports their annual International Women in Engineering Day and have many employees who join their events and are active members. Sotira Georgiou, a senior engineer and leader of Ramboll’s STEM network also sits on the WES Young Members’ Board.

Speaking about the partnership with WES, Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Alex Lawrence says: “The partnership with WES will provide us with more opportunities to make a greater impact in helping address gender equality in our industry and encourage more women to join and remain in the industry. This is so important, not only to help address the skills shortage but to also improve the diversity and inclusiveness of our industry”.
