One Chamberlain Square Topping Out Ceremony
Paradise is one of the biggest development schemes Birmingham has seen for a generation and will dramatically transform this area of the city. Planned to be a vibrant mixed use development of commercial, civic, retail, leisure and hotel space, it will provide major improvements to pedestrian access and a greatly enhanced public realm befitting the exemplary historic setting.
One Chamberlain Square, designed by Eric Parry Architects is a curvaceous eight storey building at the very heart of the development. It fronts both Chamberlain Square and the proposed Northern Square and will benefit from the latest facilities and amenities with open and efficient floorplates. PwC recently announced they will be occupying all 150,000 sq ft of office space in the building from late 2019, adding up to 1000 staff to its existing 1,400 strong Birmingham team.
Future phases of the Paradise development will include One Centenary Way, a four star hotel and a further five buildings to be built between 2020 and 2025.
