Ramboll, supported by ACE (Association for Consultancy and Engineering), is celebrating the 2018 International Women in Engineering Day by hosting a debate on “Futureproofing construction and engineering: How can we encourage and support girls into a STEM future?”. We will be sharing views and experiences on activities that inspire more young women to think: 'Wow! That's the job for me'.
- Mathew Riley, Ramboll MD and ACE Chairman. Feedback from ACE Skills Summit
- Anne Spackman, Chief Executive Officer, Career Ready. How experiences impact the decisions of young women to choose STEM careers
- Manon Bradley, Development Director, Major Projects Association, and a World Champion Powerlifter. “Disrupting the Pipeline” challenges the value of role models and considers other influences at play in a woman's decision to choose, and stay in, a STEM career.
18:00 Ramboll moderators will host a World Café discussion followed by drinks, food and networking
