A project to design and construct a bridge installation for a leadership conference illustrates Ramboll's expertise in the application of computational design to explore ideas beyond the boundaries imposed by traditional approaches.
Highways UK is for those involved in the planning, designing, building, operating and future-proofing of the UK's road network and is aimed at capturing strategic planning and thought leadership at the leading edge of UK road infrastructure development. The event includes a major exhibition and conference streams across nine theatres.
Ramboll is delighted to be sponsoring Jim O’Sullivan’s keynote speech, as well as taking part in the Environment & Health Panel at 12:15pm in the Northern Theatre. We are also exhibiting, if you are attending please come and see us on stand C26.
On Ramboll’s stand we will be sharing our experiences of combining digital design with offsite construction to rapidly evaluate options leading to improved safety, sustainability and productivity. We will also be showcasing our expertise in strengthening and repairing existing infrastructure for the improved management of lifetime costs, as well as approaches to improving the sustainability of our road network.
Come and visit our stand and fold your business card (origami style) into our bridge to form part of its cladding. This bridge was developed in joint collaboration between our structures and bridge engineers and was used at a Leadership Conference in Denmark, before taking home in the reception area of our London office. It will now proudly appear on our stand at the Highways UK event and afterwards will take residence at our brand new Birmingham office in Cornerblock.
