From the 5th to the 7th June, BCO Conference 2019 will celebrate the Danish philosophy of “Arbejdsglaede” and invite delegates to unpick what it takes to build workplaces that foster “Work Joy.” The BCO invites the office sector to learn from the city that seems to have it all, heralded as one of the most digitalised cities in the EU with sustained economic growth and a culture that encourages 55 per cent of the workforce to cycle to work. The 2019 Annual Conference will be an opportunity to extend the wellness debate to how the office impacts on our lifestyle. It will consider whether the focus on “hardware”, such as air-conditioning and fitness facilities, has come at the expense of less tangible “software”, like culture and social values that cater for different personalities, ages and cultures.
As gold sponsors, Ramboll is delighted to see the BCO Conference make its way to Copenhagen. “Being founded in Denmark we have first-hand experience of what Scandinavia has to offer and how the culture and mindset impacts office design and outcomes for those who work there. Introducing a new set of clients and collaborators to one of the happiest, most liveable cities in the world will no-doubt provide unique insight and learning." Says Martin Feakes, Ramboll’s Head of Buildings in London
Tickets will be on sale to BCO members from November 5th from the BCO website.
