Experienced leader to join Ramboll as new Global Division Director for Rail Systems

“It’s like coming home,” says Frode Mo. “The Rail Systems Division has grown since my first stint here at Ramboll and I’m looking forward to be joining such a strong player in the rail space. The work they have done with the implementation of the ERTMS in Denmark and Unmanned Train Operations is at the forefront of innovation in the sector. I’m looking forward to helping the Rail Systems team transition to the next phase of growth.”

He holds an MBA in Strategic Management and an MSc in informatics, and throughout his career he has held several leadership positions: among others with Avinor, Flytoget AS, Oslo Metro and Ramboll.

In 2011 Ramboll acquired the Norwegian company Rail-X, where Frode was Managing Director, and with the acquisition he became the Division Director for Rail in Norway. Later in his career he moved to Qatar where he was Ramboll’s Project Director on the Doha Green Line project. He then changed country and employer and became Country Director for Innovation Norway in Moscow, Russia.
