Tim is a specialist in engineering services in historic buildings with over thirty years industry experience. In the past fifteen years Tim has led a team of Ramboll engineers on listed building projects involving condition surveys, defect investigation, replacement of environmental systems and building services associated with the conservation, re-use and re-ordering of historic buildings including new build elements where appropriate.

Having completed Open University studies in Environmental Pollution, Physical Resources and the Environment and Renewable Energy, Tim is also conscious of the wider impact of buildings and engineering services.

Tim is a member of the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers (CIBSE) Heritage Group, a member of Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings (SPAB) and delivers a lecture at the SPAB Repair Course.
