Paul Maddison is a Principal Structural Engineer, he joined Ramboll in 2004 as a graduate engineer.
Paul has worked on a variety of projects including new build, refurbishment and heritage work. His MEng in Structural Engineering and Architecture enables him to appreciate architecture in an engineering discipline and also enhances the early stage scheme and concept design development with architects.
Paul has experience working in numerous construction materials, including reinforced concrete, structural steel, timber and masonry. Areas of work have included education, commercial, retail, leisure and health sectors. He has also worked on numerous projects within the historic environment including a range of survey, conservation and refurbishment projects, promoting conservation based approach to design. Although predominantly carrying out design work, Paul has also carried Contract Administration roles on some of the investigation and repair projects within the historic environment.
Paul became a Chartered Member of the Institution of Structural Engineers in 2010 and is currently preparing his CARE application
