Site Solutions or Compliance Principal/Senior Manager – Overland Park, KS
Specifically, we are seeking individuals with 20+ years of technical and consulting experience in primarily site investigation/remediation or environmental compliance, as well as related disciplines such as due diligence or air quality, for a Principal or Senior Manager position in our Overland Park, Kansas office. The ideal candidate will also have well-developed client skills and contacts in the industrial and commercial market place, particularly in Kansas City and the surrounding region. A reputation for delivering high quality services for clients and a demonstrated ability to attract significant business and new clients is a plus.
Areas of focus may involve:
- Conducting contaminated site investigation and remediation activities under various state and federal frameworks, including RCRA Corrective Action, Superfund, and state voluntary cleanup and UST programs.
- Providing environmental compliance services to commercial and industrial clients, including air, water, and waste permitting and reporting; waste management support; and Toxics Release Inventory (TRI) and Form R reporting.
- Conducting environmental due diligence assignments, including ASTM Phase 1 ESAs, as well as limited environmental compliance and risk evaluations for business portfolios as part of mergers and acquisitions.
The successful candidate will have experience managing consulting assignments, must work effectively in multi-disciplinary teams, is expected to be proficient in the analysis and dissemination of information, and must be able to work cooperatively with agencies, organizations, and individuals to guide decision-making. The successful candidate also is expected to be proficient in routine consulting activities such as project management, tracking billable time, communicating schedules, overseeing team members and sub-consultants, data analysis and final report production.
In addition, the successful candidate will be expected to promote and develop business with new and existing clients by authoring peer-reviewed publications, participating in technical conferences and professional societies, and working cooperatively with colleagues and interdisciplinary teams to earn assignments that resolve the business challenges facing corporations, financial institutions, insurers, government entities and trade associations.
PhD or Master’s degree, with certifications and/or licensure as appropriate, in Environmental Science, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Geology, Chemical Engineering, or equivalent field. Exemplary individuals with Bachelor’s degrees and related experience may be considered.
